What to bring with?

Salaams

Does anyone have ideas about what we need to bring? ( besides clothes)

I was wondering if any brothers or sisters who have been on privious Rihla's could give some advice, about what they think would be useful to bring?

Assalamu Alaykum

Some things that come to mind:

- something to take notes with (notebook, pens, laptop etc)
- Quran
- bug spray maybe?
- sunscreen
- camera
- comfortable walking shoes
- photocopy of your passport
- some basic medications
- personal items [soap, shampoo, cream etc]
- an sincere heart and a desire to change for the better and come closer to Allah SWT!

how are the accom facilities/ is there a common kitchen area we will have access to?
