Re: Traveling from Birmingham, UK

Wa Alaykum Salam,

Is there a reason why you are going to Malaga first?

Deen Intensive suggested to me that if enough people arrive in Murcia they would also arrange transport from there. Murcia is the closet airport to the Facility.

Forgive brother, didnt read your name carefully enough, thank youf or the reply. i am told granada is the closest and there will be buses from granada airport . was planning to get a bus from malaga to granada airport and meet the rest there. Please can Deen Intensive confirm if Murcia is the closest and whether any buses from there to Alqueria? Jazakallah.

Re: Traveling from Birmingham, UK

Salam

Murcia and Granada Airports are a similar distance away from the facility.
I read on the facility's website that Murcia is closer:
http://al-madrasa.com/eng/index.php?opt … ;Itemid=36

I assume Granada is a bigger airport, and easier for travellers outside of Europe, which is why they are arranging transport from there. However, since there are no longer any direct flights from the UK to Granada, it's a bit tricky for us over here.

I suggested to DIF that Murcia is a better option for students in the UK and they told me...
"If we find that many students from the UK are arriving into Murcia then we shall arrange transport form there as well."

I have already booked my flight to Murcia, and DIF were ok with that.
You could email them and ask if they have had enough interest in Murcia yet. (and then post back here :-)

Wa Salam, Aziez

Re: Traveling from Birmingham, UK

Salaams

I booked my ticket few months  ago. At that time there was arrangements for transport from Murcia. When I did some research, I found that it would be very difficult to get from Murcia to Alqueria by public transport ( other than paying for a taxi which would be very expensive).

Secondly there more flights from Birmingham to Malaga, and flight times are better. Its also easier getting from Malaga to Granada, there several buses a day. There are then two options from Granada, travel by bus to Alqueria ( there's only one bus a day) or meet the DIF group at Granada airport. The DIF plan to pickup a group from the Granada Airport at about 1pm or 2pm,on Saturday 10 July.

I would be happy to travel with anyone of the members who may be arriving in Malaga, Inshallah.

Re: Traveling from Birmingham, UK

I have been in contact with DIF and they have told me that they won't make a decision on whether they plan to arrange transportation from Murcia Airport until they have received flight details from all of us. If enough students are coming into Murcia they will try and help with transportation.
At the moment it seems that I am the only person who has a ticket to Murcia. Although they have not received flight plans from many from the UK.
